Located at 6007 Legacy Dr in the heart of Plano’s Legacy West, the Renaissance Hotel requires a hot water system that matches its reputation for luxury and reliability. To support the high-volume domestic hot water needs of this premier property, the hotel transitioned to a high-efficiency tankless solution featuring two Intellihot iQ1001 units. These units feature Intellihot’s new all-metal door. The new doors make the units fit for indoor/outdoor installation, provide enhanced durability, and yield a sleek, industrial-grade finish fit for high-traffic mechanical rooms.
The system was expertly installed by Texas Chiller Systems. Due to Intellihot’s Masterless Cascading technology, the two iQ1001 units communicate to balance the load, ensuring that even during routine maintenance or extreme demand, guest comfort remains uninterrupted. By eliminating traditional boilers and bulky tanks, the Renaissance Hotel has reclaimed valuable mechanical room space and significantly reduced its standby energy waste.
