At the newly constructed StudioRes by Marriott in Cordova, TN, guest comfort is centered around a seamless, home-like extended-stay experience. For a property accommodating long-term guests with continuous daily routines, providing reliable domestic hot water is essential. To deliver top-tier performance without sacrificing valuable square footage to large, inefficient storage tanks, the facility integrated a high-capacity tankless configuration right into its modern design.
The hotel relies on three high-efficiency Intellihot iN501 units. This tailored setup effortlessly handles the continuous, heavy hot water demands of a fully occupied property, easily managing everything from the morning shower rush to onsite laundry needs.
By leveraging masterless cascading technology, the three iN501 units operate as a single intelligent system. When demand is low, only the necessary units fire up, minimizing energy consumption and keeping operational costs incredibly low. Most importantly, this configuration guarantees built-in redundancy. If one unit requires routine maintenance, the remaining units instantly absorb the load, ensuring guests never experience a drop in water temperature. By eliminating bulky storage tanks, StudioRes secured a minimized mechanical footprint and entirely avoided the standby energy waste of heating stagnant water around the clock.
