The company also produces popular snacks like Cinnamon Churros, Original OnYums and Chile Limon Chicharinas. Its family of brands include Rudolph’s, Southern Recipe, Pepe’s El Original, Gaslamp Popcorn and Lee’s Pig Skins.
The Challenge
The new facility at Beaumont, CA was expecting a high volume of production and needed a system that could meet its large demand for hot water. The managers were also looking for efficient, reliable equipment with 0% downtime, and that required lower maintenance than the typical tank-type systems commonly used today.
The Intellihot Solution
Two Intellihot iQ1501s were installed for a combined capacity of 3,000,000 Btu/hr and easily handle the plant’s rigorous production schedule. The units provide 70 GPM of 140 degree water all day long. The heaters also work together to offer the plant 92% thermal efficiency with redundancy of 12:1 and an industry best 100:1 turn-down ratio.
