UNH was storing 240 gallons of water and keeping it hot 24/7. Tank type water heaters have several limitations, including limited hot water capacity, high energy consumption, and a relatively short lifespan.
One iQ1501 was installed to replace the two tanks in a residence hall that houses approximately 150 students and staff members.
